EAM PRESERVATION

The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy needed a way to let the public safely explore some of the remarkable furnishings inside Fallingwater. They turned to Georgia State University's Heritage Preservation Program. Using photogrammetry and a focus light scanner, a four person team led by Dept. Chair Chad Keller, spent three days on site scanning and photographing over 40 separate items. The site work was followed by two months in the lab using Agisoft Metashape and Reconstructor to create and polish detailed 3D models of each item.
